Web-enabled monitoring, control and applications
The hardware we design rarely works alone. We also build the IoT devices, HMIs, SCADA dashboards, cloud back ends and mobile apps that connect it to the people who run it, on a browser-based platform first proven on Indian Railways in 2013.
- Browser-basedNo client software or per-seat licences
- Open device layerMixed PLCs and RTUs over OPC, Modbus and Profibus
- Any linkCopper, fibre, radio, GPRS, Ethernet and Bluetooth
- Full stackFirmware to cloud, web and mobile in one team
A web platform for control and data acquisition
Our hierarchical control and data acquisition platform puts IP-enabled devices, sensors and controllers on any computer, tablet or smartphone with a browser. It runs on a corporate intranet or the internet, so one installation can serve sites with no geographical boundary.
Every PLC and RTU state is recorded for analysis and playback, and reporting or ERP integration sits on top as further IT layers. Field devices talk over UDP, TCP or in web-server mode; existing OPC servers and drivers plug in, and legacy serial devices join through converters.
Five layers, each replaceable on its own
- Browser clientsControl and live viewing with rich graphics, by user access rights
- Database and application serverHosts the web application on an intranet, WAN or the internet
- Gateway data concentratorsMap field data uniformly and keep a local copy through network outages
- TCP/IP device LANStatic-IP nodes on copper, fibre or wireless, dual-redundant if required
- IP-enabled PLCs, RTUs and devicesSensors, actuators, energy meters and switchgear wired to the I/O
Why it costs less to own
- Scalable. The two-tier IP network removes bottlenecks in field data and client access, and isolating the device network from the WAN keeps it secure.
- Robust. Gateway concentrators with local databases can run in redundant or hot-backup pairs, to whatever fault tolerance the site needs.
- Flexible. Built on proven web technology, with security and firewalling set to your policy.
- Cheaper to run. No licence per operator terminal, changes made once on the server instead of at every terminal, and support delivered remotely.
Where it applies
- Railway signalling
- Petroleum pipeline monitoring
- Water pipeline monitoring
- SCADA for substations and distribution networks
- Distributed process-plant automation
- Asset management for distributed inventory
- ERP integration and multi-level control

IoT, HMI and sensors
Embedded intelligence at the equipment, so the data that reaches the dashboard is worth having.
We design custom SoC-based IoT modules running an RTOS, sensor networks with isolated voltage and current feedback, and the HMIs that sit on the equipment: LCD panels with page-through menus, and browser HMIs served from the device itself.
Telemetry travels over Ethernet, GPRS or Bluetooth into cloud SCADA dashboards on AWS IoT and similar platforms, or into SNMP and Modbus networks, with full parameter logging, event history, scheduled battery tests and SMS or email alerts.
Cloud and applications
The software layer that turns connected equipment into a service: apps for users, back ends for operators.
Cross-platform web and mobile applications on Python and Django back ends, with MongoDB and Redis for storage and caching, and big-data pipelines for the logs that field equipment produces.
For EV charging we deliver the whole chain: OCPP-compliant charger firmware, a charging management system, billing and payment-gateway integration, fleet management and mobile apps. For Su-vastika’s hybrid inverters we built the Bluetooth phone app.
Projects
Urban Engineering, Indian Railways
IP-enabled train monitoring
Real-time monitoring of track circuits, signal states, point machine positions and level-crossing gates across auto sections, in revenue service on Eastern and South Eastern Railway since 2013: 69 km of track and 901 relay inputs on 16 PLCs. Field devices on an FOC and SDHSL Ethernet backbone feed a browser GUI centralised at headquarters, with no software or licences at client terminals. Built with Allen-Bradley PLCs, .NET and WPF, and tested against RDSO specifications.
Paharpur Cooling Towers Ltd.
IoT cooling-tower monitoring
A microcontroller-driven sensor network measuring water flow rate, inlet and outlet temperatures, wet-bulb temperature and motor power consumption. Readings show in real time on an LCD at the tower and travel by GPRS modem to a central server, where a browser HMI logs them for remote analysis and sends SMS and email alerts.

WatEr-ERIS solar irrigation
A joint research MoU for solar-powered, cloud-based automated irrigation. We designed the IoT modules and integrated solar panels, sensors and water pumps, with real-time data acquisition from sites in Himachal Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
Neo Tele-Tronix Pvt. Ltd.
Test-equipment automation
More than a decade of automating critical electrical test equipment, combining our regenerative power converters and variable-frequency sources with the control software that runs them. Power hardware
